Have a kiddo with a passion for the baking and decorating? We have three new work shops available for ages 7 and older to decorate cake pops, sugar cookies, or a cake. All materials will be provided for each class, and student will take home their work the same day. Each workshop is from 10-12:00pm.
Cake Pops: Learn to mix, roll, dip and decorate cake pops. Getting the batter to just the right consistency, and melting, but not burning the chocolate for dipping them. Each student will receive 3 vanilla bean cake pops, and three chocolate. We will have all the fun sprinkles and chocolate to help decorate your yummy cake pops.
Sugar Cookies: Learn the lifelong technique of royal icing sugar cookies. Our theme for the class will be summer time, including 6 cookies in the shape of a sandy graham cracker beach, flip flops, and palm trees. We will make royal icing while the first layer of icing on the cookies dries.
Cake Decorating: Each student will decorate a 4" cake to serve 4-6. We will have a summer theme for the cake using many different techniques including different frosting tips, fondant, and getting the cake ready to frost (crumb coating). Everyone will go home with their delicious vanilla bean cake hand decorated and frosted by them.
